Description
This was a classroom extension complete with toilet facilities, carried out to match the existing school. The school is located in a mining area with a pre contract ground survey identifying the possibility of shafts and mine workings underneath. This building required a complicated piled foundation complete with ground compaction to the immediate vicinity. A corridor was also created through the existing building to provide access into the new extension.
