Description
A proprietary panel formwork system was used to construct the 3000 mm high circular walls and deck of this water retaining structure. A high standard of workmanship in the complex reinforcement, formwork and concrete placement was required to meet the exacting standards of the project engineer. A 50/50 blend of GGBS and OPC was used for all concreting works to ensure that correct curing could take place.
